Understanding your

We thoroughly review your case to make sure our funding is right for you, and aim to close funding deals within a sector-leading four to six weeks. During this process, our expert team will assess the strengths of your case based on information you have provided, including its complexity, chances of success and the potential damages on offer.
We’ll weigh all the costs involved against the likely compensation if the case is won, keeping you regularly updated on our progress and asking for more details where necessary.
If your case is financially viable, we’ll quickly provide you with a funding proposal, including feedback on the case and our fees, so that your business has the certainty it needs to proceed.

As litigation funding experts with global experience, we’re able to advise on the legal standing of third-party funding in all major jurisdictions and we will start by considering whether it is allowed under the applicable law.
When it comes to third party funding in the APAC region, some countries have their own complex regulations whilst others either permit it, or have not yet regulated it. Deminor will take any applicable laws and regulations into account, ensuring that funding agreements are adapted to be compliant with any local regulatory restrictions.

Full and flexible funding
Funding designed to support your business
We cover all the costs of your case. This includes legal and expert fees, court costs, travel and translation expenses and any costs awarded to opposing parties if you lose. In addition to this, we also offer a flexible funding model to cover part of the costs or proceedings, as well as help catching up on fees for selected cases, purchasing court judgement or arbitral award and funding the defendant.
Our access to all major currencies and the fact we are not subject to foreign exchange restrictions also means we can fund costs at short notice, in any jurisdiction.
We build our funding around your needs and have the flexibility to support nearly all types of litigation where there is a good chance of success. Whether your business is initiating a case, defending against another party, involved in commercial litigation such as a tribunal, or has a portfolio of cases, we’ll design a funding model that suits you.
Investment return
Investing in your success
Our funding is an investment in your case. If it succeeds we take our fee, if it doesn’t we still pay your costs but do not charge a fee. In short, we de-risk the process for your business.
Our fee is usually calculated in one of two ways when a case is successful. It is either a percentage of the total underlying claim value secured, or a multiple of the amount we have invested. Sometimes it is a combination of the two.
We are also able to design bespoke options for your business such as partial funding and funding combined with specialist insurance. In all our cases and with all our clients, we are transparent about our fee structure and make sure there is full agreement on how it will be calculated.
